Deer Skin & Kangaroo Skin is varied in every way, every skin product will be different in look, overall size, markings & thickness.
Sometimes market supply is low and dictates the variance of the product we receive and we may not have all products all the time
Our Pickled skins are supplied Wet! and are of good quality from a reputable processor. The origin of the skins are varied, hunters, controlled government culls, farmed animals and abattoir’s. Some are reclaimed products that otherwise would have been discarded.

We use these skins for all of our own drum making & drum making retreats and have done for many years. We love the results!
We do not supply Raw Hide! Raw Hide is a different process.
We do not recommend the following…
1. Soaking in any liquid other than a rinse before use, or
2. Drying out Pickled skin until it has been crafted into a drum, rattle or other craft.
Our experience has shown that a dried Pickled skin that is re-soaked in liquid, may loose its strength and become brittle.
Due to the nature of animal skin and the way it is used by you, we cannot and do not provide warranty of skin products in any way.
